Nullarbor Traveller is the only tour operator offering an 'Adventure Tour' over 'Australia's Ultimate Road Journey' and links the capital cities of Adelaide and Perth.

With regular departure dates, capable, friendly drivers and guides offer adventures to wild places with exciting activities and Aussie country hospitality. A tour from Perth to Adelaide takes eight days with camping accommodation.

Highlights of the tour can include swimming with Australian sea lions and dolphins in their natural environment, bush camping under the stars, walking on footprint free beaches, visiting pristine coastal regions untouched by mass tourism, swimming in an underground lake in one of the Nullarbor caves, bush walking and much more.

Nullarbor Traveller prides itself on offering an experience that is well planned and well organised. The vehicles are modern, air-conditioned and well maintained Toyota coaster buses with a maximum of 21 passengers and custom built trailers carry all luggage and camping equipment. Three person dome tents are used by a maximum of two people, custom made foam mattresses 40 millimetres thick, and small travel pillows for every passenger.

The food provided is fresh with emphasis on plenty of variety in the menu. If you are a budget conscious traveller who desires an adventure experience away from the tourist crowds then this is the tour for you. A reasonable level of fitness is required but all activities are optional.

Day 1 Perth to Dunsborough
The adventure begins as you travel south from Perth with your first stop at the popular tourist town of Busselton, where it's hard to miss the 19th-century Jetty stretching 1.8km into Geographe Bay. Here you'll have a coffee on the waterfront and chat about what exciting things are to come. Next you'll head to Margaret River to enjoy a leisurely canoe along the pristine and calm Margaret River. You'll have some lunch then it's time tantalise those tastebuds as you spend the afternoon tasting some of the world best wine and produce at a chocolate factory, cheese factory and of course some wineries and boutique breweries. You'll be having dinner and spending the night in popular tourist hotspot Dunsborough, loved for its sparkling calm clear water, white sandy beaches and great evening vibes. Drive time today is about 4 hours with lots of stops along the way and lunch and dinner are included.

Day 2 Dunsborough to Walpole
Today you'll meet Wardandi custodian Josh, who will introduce you to the world's oldest living culturewith his authentic and personal interpretation. Go deep down into the Ngilgi Cave for a memorable didgeridoo cave experience, taste native foods, discover bush medicine and experience traditional fire lighting on this unique indigenous cultural experience. Swing by the township of Margaret River, where you'll have a quick look at the eclectic mix of shops and galleries. You'll stop at Hamlin Bay for lunch before making your way into Walpole to climb the 50 metre Diamond Tree, a native karri tree once used as a fire lookout and only 1 of 3 wooden top towers in the world. This is where you'll be having dinner and spending the night. About 4 hours of drive time to cover today. (B, L, D).

Day 3 Walpole, Albany to Perth
This morning you'll explore the stunning beauty of the Walpole region and bushwalk through a giant forest of towering Red Tingle trees, many of which are over 400 years old. From the forest to the ocean as next its onto William Bay National Park where you will amazed by the paradise that is Greens Pool. A magical beach completely sheltered it's the perfect place to have a swim before cruising along a beautiful glorious stretch of coastline to Albany. See how years of erosion have crafted incredible rock sculptures and granite bluffs the Natural Bridge and The Gap are two of our favorites. You'll have some lunch in the historical township of Albany before hitting the road back to Perth. Around 6 hours of drive time today but its all of stunningly diverse scenery. As your 3-day adventure tour comes to an end you'll roll into Perth around 6.30pm and although there are no formal activities planned it is usual for the group to get together and reflect on the journey together over a few drinks and a meal (at own expense).

Day 1 - Perth to Fitzgerald River National Park:
The adventure begins as you travel east from Perth over the Darling Ranges with your first coffee break in the historic township of York, WA's oldest inland town. A bit more driving and you'll be eating lunch in the shadow of Wave Rock. By late afternoon, you'll have arrived in Fitzgerald River National Park, an internationally recognised world biosphere. This is the biggest day of driving travelling around 10 hours with stops along the way. Walking time is about an hour. Tonight you will swag camp at Fitzgerald River National Park which has toilet but no shower facilities. Lunch and dinner are provided. (L,D)

Day 2 Esperance & Cape Le Grand National Park
Begin the morning with a brisk hike up East Mt Baron, one of the three quartzite peaks that make up the Barren Range. Legs stretched, you'll take the coastal route into Esperance for a coffee break and mosey around. Then get ready for some of Australia's most spectacular scenery with this part of WA having no less than 9 National Parks where you will camp at the most spectacular of all, Cape Le Grand National Park. The ocean here is practically transparent, the local eastern grey roos are regularly sunbaking on the beach and the sand at Lucky Bay has twice been judged Australia's whitest. Enjoy a free afternoon here and how you spend it is wholly up to you. Set out on a coastal bushwalk, splash about in the sea, fiddle around with your camera aperture or just kick back with your new buds along the beach. Today you will travel 3 hours with stops along the way. Walking time is about 3 hours and you'll be swag camping with toilet and shower facilities at Cape Le Grand. All meals are provided. (B,L,D).

Day 3 Cape Le Grand National Park & Stirling Ranges
The views from the top of Frenchman's Peak are pretty impressive, so this morning the top of Frenchman's Peak is where you'll go. Following the walk, it's back in the bus for the drive into the Stirling Ranges, with a lunch stop near Esperance along the way. Depending on the time of the year in spring you might seek out the beautiful wildflowers or in the heat of summer some secret swimming spots. Today driving time is about 6 hours and walking time is about 4.5 hours. Tonight you will swag camp at a private camp ground in the Stirling Ranges with shower and toilet facilities. All meals are provided. (B, L, D).

Day 4 Stirling Ranges & South West Coast
Today's an early start as you visit the oldest mountain range in the world, the unique Porongurups which rise from the landscape like an island. Set out on a two-hour hike through some spectacular forests to Castle Rock which is a bit of a climb but worth every bit of effort as you are rewarded with breathtaking views over the region. Then traveling along Western Australia's answer to Victoria's Great Ocean Road, you'll be treated to superb views of sun-bleached boulders, turquoise seas and dramatic red-rock cliffs shaped by eons of crashing waves and rolling tides. Visit the Gap, Natural Bridge, Elephant Rocks and Green Pools fora swim in a sheltered swim and then a stop at the largest Tingle Tree in Western Australia. Today you'll drive about 4 hours and walk about 1.5 hours. Tonight you'll stay in Quinninup Caravan Park which has shower and toilet facilities and all meals are provided. (B, L, D).

Day 5 - Walpole & Margaret River
Discover the pristine wilderness region of Walpole and if feeling brave you can climb the 50 metre Diamond Tree, a native karri tree once used as a fire lookout and only 1 of 3 wooden top towers in the world. Next it's time tantalise those tastebuds as you spend the rest of the day tasting your way around the Margaret River region visiting boutique wineries, breweries, a chocolate factory and a cheese factory, sampling as you go. Cheers to that. Today you'll drive approx 5 hours making stops along the way. Tonight, you'll swag camp at a camp ground with shower and toilet facilities with all meals are provided. There is even limited phone charging here. (B, L, D).

Day 6 - Margaret River to Perth
On the last day of the trip you'll wake to the now-familiar warble of kookaburras and cockatoos before heading to Dunsborough where you'll meet Wardandi custodian Josh, who will introduce you to the world's oldest living culture with his authentic and personal interpretation. Go deep down into the Ngilgi Cave for a memorable didgeridoo cave experience, taste native foods, discover bush medicine and experience traditional fire lighting on this unique indigenous cultural experience. As your 6 day tour from Perth draws to an end as you have your final lunch and swim at the popular tourist town of Busselton, where it's hard to miss the 19th-century Jetty stretching 1.8km into Geographe Bay. One last stint on the road see's you arriving into Perth around 6pm and although there are no formal activities planned it is usual for the group to get together and reflect on the big journey together over a few drinks and meal (at own expense). Day 1 Adelaide to Flinders Ranges National Park
Headed north you'll stop in at Clare for a quick coffee before continuing on to the ancient Southern Flinders Ranges. So unique are the fossils found in this landscape, geologists had to revise the geologic time-line of the Earth's history, identifying a new era called the Ediacaran period!Hike Alligator Gorge where you'll have lunch and explore the pristine Warren Gorge where you'll be spending the night camped out under the stars of the Southern Cross. You'll also be keeping your eyes peeling for the rare rock footed wallaby which is bouncing back from near extension. Today weyou'll drive approx. 400 km (4 hours) in total with stops along the way. You'll be bush camping (no facilities) and your lunch and dinner are included. (L, D).

Day 2 Flinders Ranges & the Eyre Peninsula
Its an early morning start for the incredible Dutchmans Stern hike before travelling to the wild and beautiful Eyre Peninsula, one of Australia's best kept secrets. See some unique outback silo art in the tiny town of Kimba, and after a quick pit stop for lunch, it's time to head to the coast to explore Venus Bay where you'll often spot dolphins surfing the waves and, Talia Caves. In the afternoon you'll pull in to Coodlie Park, your home base, where company owner Hassie will cook up a delicious BBQ feast and you'll share stories with travellers from the other tour around the campfire before spending the night in a unique little swag hut. Today you drive approx 450km (5 hours) in total with stops along the way and all meals are included and unique bucket shower and eco toilet facilities are available. Please note that tomorrow you will be swapping buses and joining the other group travelling from Perth to Adelaide. (B, L, D).

Day 3 - Coodlie Park & Baird Bay
This morning you'll be swapping buses joining the tour coming from Perth and getting ready for a day filled with ocean-based adventure! A highlight of the tour today you'll have the opportunity to swim, snorkel and splash about with playful sea lions and dolphins on a 3-hour cruise in the calm and sheltered waters of Baird Bay. This outsourced adventure operated by Baird Bay Eco Tours is an optional experience and at only AU$170 will be one an experience you will treasure forever. Those who choose to stay dry will have the morning at their leisure. Following a picnic lunch on the beach you'll hit the waters again doing a learn to surf lesson with Sceale Bay Surf School on a remote and pristine beach. Those not wanting to surf will be able to relax, swim or explore. Tonight you'll stay back at Coodlie Park in the swag huts, drive for about 3 hours today, walk about 1, with some swimming if you choose to as well.

Day 4 - Port Lincoln & Mikkira Station
This morning test out your sand boarding skills in the Lake Newland Conservation Park sand dunes then explore the spectacular Eyre Peninsula coastline before heading to Port Lincoln the Seafood Capital of Australia. Enjoy delicious lunch on the foreshore and afterwards stretch your legs with a wander around the town you have some time here for you to stroll along the foreshore, survey the scenery or kick back with a cool drink in a café. You'll make a short drive onto the campsite for the night at Mikkira Station, a private campground surrounded by eucalyptus trees and plenty of neighbourly koalas. Driving is about 3 hours and walking time is about 2 hours. Mikkira Station which has toilets and shower facilities. All meals included. (B, L, D).

Day 5 - Port Lincoln to Mt Remarkable
Today you are offered two very different itineraries depending on your love affair with fear!If you are seeking a major adrenalin rush you can choose the optional experience of Shark Cage Diving with Great White Sharks. Port Lincoln is the only place in Australia and one of only five in the world you can come face to face with this incredible creature. This is a full day tour which costs AU$395 + AU$125 water entry fee. If you choose not to shark cage dive then your day is still action packed. Visit Lincoln National Park, which features some of the most scenic coastline in South Australia. Travel along Whalers Way coastal drive to see breathtaking coastline and some of the oldest rocks in Australia and you'll be spotting abundant native Australian wildlife such as emus and kangaroos in the sanctuary. You'll visit Wadlata Cultural Centre and have an interpretive walk through the life of the new frontier pioneers of South Australia. You'll pick up any people returning from the Shark Cage Dive and then head to Mt. Remarkable National Park to set up camp for the night. Depending on which itinerary you chose we'll drive for about four hours, and walk for two, if not doing the cage dive. You'll bush camp In Mt. Remarkable National Park which has shower and toilets. Day 6 - Mt Remarkable to Adelaide
This morning you'll embark on your last hike of the tour - Davey's Gully Walk in Mt Remarkable National Park, before hitting the road back to Adelaide and travelling through some of South Australia pioneer mining towns. Drive time today is about 5 hours and this overland adventure ends up on arrival in Adelaide. You'll get your breakfast and lunch and although there are no formal activities planned it is usual for the group to get together and reflect on their adventure together over a few drinks and meal (at own expense).
