Board your vessel at the MONA Brooke Street Ferry Terminal and travel by high speed ferry to Mona. Enjoy a day of wine and art. The Museum of Old and New Art is Australia's largest privately owned gallery and museum. Showcasing the diverse collection of its owner, Tasmanian gambler and maths nerd David Walsh, Mona exhibits everything from ancient Egyptian funerary objects to modernist masterpieces. The Mona site, perched on the banks of the River Derwent is also home to the Moorilla winery and vineyard. Arriving at Mona, begin your exploration of the underground galleries at your leisure. After your art binge, head to Mona's top notch restaurant at 1.30pm for a one course lunch of seasonal local produce, matched with a glass of Moorilla wine. After lunch take a behind the scenes tour of the winery and vineyard. Delve into Moorilla's back story with your expert host and learn the finer points of old and new artisanal winemaking techniques. You will be treated to a tasting of a selection of Moorilla wines, including a selection from their prestigious Cloth Label series. Board the 5.00pm ferry for the transfer back to Hobart.

Ferry departs Hobart at 9.30am (11am departure also available if preferred). Your self-guided exploration of the subterranean galleries begins with an introduction to Mona's O device by a gallery attendant. Entry is included. Be sure to check mona.net.au for information about current exhibitions. After your art binge, head to Mona's top-notch restaurant at 2pm for a one-course lunch of
seasonal local produce, matched with a glass of wine from Moorilla's Muse or Praxis Series. Fed and watered, you'll then begin your behind-the-scenes tour of the winery at 3.30pm in Moorilla's vineyard (the second oldest in Tasmania, mind you). Delve into Moorilla's backstory with your expert host and get acquainted with the finer points of old and new artisanal winemaking techniques. You'll be treated to a tasting of ten different Moorilla/Domaine A wineselegant, fragrant and often experimental.
Includes 5pm return ferry transfer from Mona to Hobart.
