Alice Springs Desert Park

Alice Springs Desert Park is the essential introduction to the deserts of Central Australia. Our deserts are rich with life with thousands of stories to be explored. In one tourist attraction experience the spirit of a living culture; explore a vibrant botanic wonderland and get up close with outback animals and characters that epitomise the fun and adventurous spirt of the red centre.

In 3-4 hours take easy walking trails through three desert botanical habitats, explore a living culture with Aboriginal guides and daily presentations. Witness free-flying birds of prey in the nature theatre, see rare and endangered animals in the spectacular nocturnal house and take a cinematic journey through 4 1/2 billion years of desert creation.
